The UDV-CP02A DVI USB KVM Switches is a 2-port compact desktop KVM Switches with Audio and Mic switchesing function. It allows you to access, control, boot and reboot two USB-enabled multimedia computers with only one USB keyboard, mouse, monitor and optional speaker set and microphone, using the Switchesing Software Client installed on your PCs. It comes with 2 sets of detachable DVI/Audio&Mic combo cables & 2 USB cables for SOHO and office desktop multimedia application.
Analog and Digital Video with DDC2B and HDCP Support
This DVI USB KVM Switches supports both digital video (2048 x 1536) and analog video (1920 x 1200) for your maximum convenience in adapting to your display requirements. It is TMDS compliant to support DDC2B emulation and HDCP compliant for digital contents protection.
Win-based Switchesing Software Support on PC
The UDV-CP02A also provides a Switchesing Software that shows you the current active PC and allows you to select PC as well as configure keyboard hotkeys. It appears as an icon on the system tray of your Window/Mac desktop, and will change its number icon upon switchesing to show the active PC port. Using this small client software, it will give KVM users utmost convenience and control.
Audio and Microphone Switchesing offers uninterrupted multimedia experience
The audio and microphone switchesing function of UDV-CP02A allows you to leverage the multimedia systems on each of your two computers. You can monitor the audio/mic input/output of each computer without plugging on and off the audio/mic cables. User can also choose to use either independent/simultaneous switchesing of both PC channel and audio/microphone channel for their maximum convenience. Furthermore, it offers you user-programmable simultaneous/ independent PC and audio/mic switchesing function for flexible multimedia and KVM Switchesing operation.
USB 2.0 compliant for USB keyboard, mouse and high-speed device sharing
The USB 2.0 interface offers multi-platform support for PC, Macintosh G3/G4, iMAC and PowerBook. In addition to the usual connections of a set of USB keyboard and mouse, the two USB 2.0 hub ports can also be connected to a high-speed USB device such as USB storage or webcam, etc. The KVM Switchesing Software client supports both Windows/Mac platforms.
